Learning our colors

In Kindergarten, we are learning through every experience.

Preface: Before class each day, the custodians clean the toilets by pouring blue disinfectant into the toilet bowl.

Time & Setting: During calendar at the beginning of the day. A student asks to go to the restroom, she gets up, walks into the bathroom and immediately comes back out.

Student: "Mrs. Gwegg, the toilet is blue!"

Mrs. Gregg: "Baby, the toilet has cleaning magic in it and it turns the toilet blue to keep you clean. Don't worry about it."

Five minutes later...

Student: "Mrs. Gwegg, I know what blue and yellow make!"

From the Mouth of Babes...

Mrs. Gregg: "Does anyone know who the President of the United States is?"

Student: "Mrs. Gregg and class, the President of the United States is Broccoli Obama."
